EduMais offers free, high-quality education to children and young people from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. Our partners make that possible. Whether you are a company, a foundation, a service club or a school, there is a way to work together that fits your goals and makes a real difference for our students.

Proven, long-term impact

We have worked with students at Solar Meninos de Luz since 2016. Every graduating class has been with us longer than the one before, and our graduates go on to study, work, or both. Today we teach 210 students.

We choose stability for our students and team over fast growth. Your support goes into programs that last.

A safe, caring approach

Our teachers work with Positive Discipline and trauma-informed teaching, because many of our students grow up with violence and insecurity.

Transparent and accountable

EduMais is registered in the Netherlands and in Brazil, and is a member of Goede Doelen Nederland. We publish our annual financial reports every May and report to our partners on how their support is used.

Visible and meaningful for your team

We share your support through our newsletter and social media, and we are happy to tell your employees and customers the story of what you make possible.

1. Sponsor a program

Support one of our programs for a year: English classes at Solar Meninos de Luz, Tabajaras or MUF, Homework Assistance, ENEM preparation (Pre-Vestibular) or Entrepreneurship.

2. Sponsor a project

Fund a specific project with a clear goal and timeline, for example healthy meals at our Serious Game Design Summer Camp, our girls’ football project with Favela Street (2027), or equipping our classroom in Tabajaras.

3. In-kind donations

Donate what our students need to learn: computers, laptops and monitors, school materials, or software licences.

4. Pro bono expertise

Share your skills with us, such as marketing, design, IT, finance or legal support, or offer workshops, mentoring or internships for our older students.

5. Corporate giving and events

Involve your team in a fundraiser, match employee donations, or make EduMais the charity of your company event or campaign.
