Teach English in Brazil at EduMais

Who we are looking for

We are always looking for committed and motivated volunteers to teach English in Brazil with us. Someone passionate about using their skills to improve the lives of at-risk young people in Rio de Janeiro’s favelas.

As well as the expectations we have of all volunteers, we strongly prefer our volunteer English teachers to be native or truly bilingual speakers. A TEFL certificate or other relevant teaching qualification is also a big plus.

What’s more, teaching English in the favelas poses its own unique challenges, so it’s vital that you are patient, reliable, flexible, loving, and kind. Our kids deserve nothing less!
