As a summer camp volunteer, you will be teaching our at-risk-kids the skills they need to create a brighter future.
EduMais’s Summer Camps provide underprivileged and vulnerable children in Rio’s favelas with an opportunity to have fun and to connect during the summer holidays. We fill their days with academic learning, creative and physical activity, and healthy food options.
You will spend your time teaching and supporting the children. Depending on which camp you join, you will be developing their English or computer programming skills. At the same time, you will be teaching them the social and life skills they will need to become successful adults.
Volunteering in this precarious setting is a great way to both give to the children and enjoy yourself while doing it! You will truly make a difference and have a profound impact on our kids!
